Inspiration of Godtistic

From the moment our son, Jedidiah, came into our lives, we knew he was special. My husband, Woodie, however, struggled with the idea that our son could be autistic. He remained in denial until our son’s primary care doctor recommended an evaluation, which confirmed an autism diagnosis. Despite this, we refused to let society define our child by its limitations. Instead, we chose to embrace God’s identity for him and for ourselves.

We believe we are created in God’s perfect image—God’s perfect art, peculiar, unique, and set apart. This belief has empowered us to break free from the societal boxes that seek to limit us, and to stand in alignment with the boundless potential of God.

Personally, my journey of identity restoration is also a testimony of God’s transformative power. For many years, I struggled with my identity, including living a life of homosexuality. However, through God’s grace and guidance, I experienced a profound redemption. God delivered me from a life that did not align with His design and restored me to my true identity in Him. This transformation has been a testament to the power of His love and the importance of embracing the identity He has given each of us.

Our mission is to share this revelation with the world, helping others to rediscover and restore their true identity as designed by God. We are guided by Romans 12:2, which tells us: “And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”

Through Godtistic, we aim to inspire individuals and communities to embrace their unique, God-given identities and live out their divine purpose with faith, dignity, and limitless potential, regardless of how society perceives them.
